Hi!  I’m Stephanie – founder of Balanced Health Holistically and Holistic Nutritionist on a mission to help women end hormonal imbalance and pain, reduce stress and boost energy.

I’ve been where you are.  I burned out after 10 years in the corporate world.  I was stressed out, anxious, had horrible acne and suffered from incredibly painful, mid-cycle, period pains – later to be diagnosed with suspected endometriosis.  My digestion took a nose dive too and my liver was in desperate need of detoxification.

The doctors had no answers for me – and barely even asked any questions.  Their “solution” was to put me back on the birth control pill.  Not willing to go down that road again, I followed my passion for nutrition and went back to school to learn everything I could to heal my body.

While my health journey continues today, I am now nearly free of my painful hormonal imbalance symptoms – symptoms synonymous with endometriosis.  I no longer have painful, mid-cycle periods.  My acne is nearly non-existent.  My anxiety and stress are (mostly) under control.  My digestion has improved substantially – I can enjoy foods again that I once had to avoid!  Best of all, I found energy and motivation that I hadn’t experienced in years!

My goal, as a Holistic Nutritionist, is to educate and, most importantly, empower women – just like you – to make healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices so that you too can live a life of vitality, hormonal harmony and free of pain.

Aside from being a passionate Holistic Nutritionist, I am a proud mama to two beautiful girls – Naiya and Avyana – who have taught me invaluable life lessons.  I am forever grateful to them both for I would not be where I am today without them.

I believe in balance – you can live your life free of pain, hormonal imbalance and ill health while still enjoying delicious foods and, of course, the occasional treat!  I don’t believe in deprivation… you will not succeed in reaching your health goals if you can’t enjoy your favourite foods! 

What it comes down to is eating whole foods as much as possible, making good choices, experimenting with healthy, nutrient dense recipes and providing your body with variety!
