Advanced Preparation for “5 Ingredients or Less ( Copy )”

1 - 2 days prior [optional], Tofu, regular, extra firm 1 block (12oz) [for Basic Crispy Tofu on Fri]
Instructions:

Remove the tofu from its packaging. Line a plate with a folded paper towel, set the tofu on top, and cover with another folded paper towel. Set a small plate on top of the tofu and weigh it down with something heavy, like a can (see picture). Press for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours. You will see liquid collect around the tofu.
