An elimination diet is a short-term eating plan that eliminates certain foods that may be causing allergies and other digestive reactions — then reintroduces the foods one at a time in order to determine which foods are, and are not, well-tolerated. This meal plan is free of gluten, dairy, soy, refined sugar, peanuts, corn, alcohol, eggs, packaged/processed/fast foods, and certain nightshades. This meal plan is part of the 'elimination' phase of the process. It is best to work with a nutrition professional to slowly introduce foods back into your diet.
