These recipes are for anyone who enjoys delicious food and finding healthier, hip (and holistic) alternatives to traditional favourites and also for those who enjoy creative cooking and getting innovative in the kitchen!
"Let food be thy medicine" Hippocrates once said, well I've shared this food-losophy my entire life. My home kitchen is even called my Apothecary, and I know most people don't see their food as powerful medicine, quite the contrary actually, most people see food as the enemy. It's just not so... nor is it that simple.
We all know, we need to eat— in order to function, to have energy, to move, to think. Most people get carried away avoiding sugar like the plague, or think carbs are bad, or calories should be restricted, reduced or avoided altogether but then we must ask, at what cost?
My goal with my food endeavours is of course, to share my love of food, my passion, my inspiration and my explorations as I indulge in adventures with food, and discover new ways to create deliciously nutrient dense recipes that taste good but feel good because you know that they are nourishing and can enjoy them guilt-free.
