0.04 cup Almond meal/flour
1/10 medium Carrots (peeled, finely diced)
0.01 tsp Cayenne pepper
0.04 can (15oz) Chickpeas, canned (mashed)
0.01 tsp Cinnamon
0.04 tsp Cumin
0.04 tsp Garlic powder
1/10 from 1 lemon Lemon juice
0.02 tsp Lemon peel (zest)
0.04 bunch Parsley, Italian, fresh (chopped)
1/8 tbsp Soy sauce
0.01 cup Tahini paste (plus 2 tbsp)
0.04 large Yellow onion (finely diced)
0.04 tbsp sumac, ground (optional)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. Form into small patties 2 inches wide.

Heat a little oil in frying pan and working in batches, cook patties in skillet over medium heat, 2 minutes each side, until browned and crispy. Transfer to prepared baking sheet. Cook 5 minutes in oven to cook through.

Make your own falafel, or pair with pita bread, a bowl of couscous, or salad.
