7 1/2 piece, 1-inch Ginger root (sliced or grated)
2 1/2 stick(s) Cinnamon
5 tsp Turmeric, powder (or inches fresh)
25 clove Cloves (or 1/4 tsp ground)
1/3 tsp Cayenne pepper
7 1/2 cup Water
2 1/2 whole lemon(s) Lemon juice
2 1/2 tbsp Honey, raw

Instructions


Stick the ginger, spices and fresh water in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer for quite some time — about 15 - 20 minutes. It’ll make almost a concentrate.

Strain out the spices and pour back into the pot.

When you’re ready to drink, add the lemon juice and raw honey.

Refrigerate any leftovers to add to hot water, lemon and honey going forward.
