Heat oil in large pot over med-high heat. Add sausage and cook until browned- about 8-10 mins.
Add onions and cook- about 3-5 mins. Add garlic and cook- about 1 min. Add broth, kale, sweet potatoes, and lentils.
Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until lentils and sweet potatoes are tender- about 30-35 mins.
