|1 cup||Almond flour/meal, Bob's Red Mill|
|1/2 cup hulled||Hemp seeds, shelled (Or chopped nuts of your choice)|
|2 tbsp||Carob powder|
|1/2 tsp||slippery elm|
|1 pinch||Sea salt|
|2 tbsp||Honey, raw (Organic, raw, unpasteurized (or another sweetener if vegan))|
|1 tbsp||Water, filtered (optional if lumpy)|
1. Combine the almond flour, hemp seeds, carob powder, slippery elm powder and salt in a mixing bowl and mix well. The slippery elm will help to bind any residual moisture, so the product will harden with time.
2. Add the honey and a splash of water to the mixture. Stir well, using hands to knead if necessary.
3. Form bars or balls, or roll out thinly on parchment paper and make shapes with cookie cutters!
4. Leave at room temperature to air dry overnight, then store in the fridge in an air-tight container.
