1 medium Apple
1/2 cup Blackberries
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground
1/4 tsp Allspice, ground (optional)
1 tsp Honey, raw
1 tsp Coconut oil
1 tsp Vanilla extract, pure

Instructions


Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut apple in half crosswise and using a small knife carefully core both sides of the apple to create a hollow space. You want to end up with two apple “doughnuts”. Place both halves on a nonstick pan.

Mix the honey, coconut oil, vanilla extract and spices in small dish. Your coconut oil and honey may be too solid at room temperature to easily mix together. If so, melt the coconut oil and honey in a small pan.

Coat the blackberries in the liquid and spice mixture and using a fork scoop the berries in the holes of the apples. Drizzle remaining liquid overtop of the apples.

Bake apples for 25 minutes and enjoy!
