Ingredients


1 cup Quinoa, uncooked (rinsed)
2 cup Almond milk, vanilla, unsweetened, Silk (unsweetened)
1/4 cup Applesauce, unsweetened (unsweetened)
1/2 teaspoons Apple Pie Spice
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract, pure
pinch Salt
2 Apple (medium; shredded)
Maple syrup (100% pure; optional topping*)

Instructions


  1. Bring quinoa, almond milk, and applesauce to a boil in medium pot.
  2. Reduce to simmer and continue to cook for 15 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  3. Stir in apple pie spice, vanilla and salt.
  4. Pour into bowls and top with shredded apples and a drizzle of maple syrup if desired.
