Apple and Walnut Yogurt Parfait

1 medium Apple (diced)
1/4 cup Walnuts (crushed)
1/4 tsp Cinnamon (to taste)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain, fat-free
1/2 tsp Honey (or maple syrup (optional))


  1. Dice the apple and crush the walnuts, then add to a bowl. 
  2. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the apple-walnut mixture and stir to coat.
  3. Starting with either the yogurt or the apple-walnut mixture, layer the yogurt and apple/walnut mixture alternately in a mason jar or parfait glass, ending with the apple/walnut mixture.
  4. Garnish the top with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon (optional).
