1 tbsp | Ghee (or other animal fat: tallow, pork drippings, lard) |
1 tbsp chopped | Yellow onion |
3 medium mushroom(s) | White mushrooms (sliced) |
2 tsp | Garam masala (or curry powder) |
2 tsp | Chili powder (optional) |
2 tsp | Cumin (ground) |
1 tsp | Hot pepper (chili) flakes |
1 tsp | Fenugreek seeds (ground) |
1 cup | Bone broth, Organic (or water) |
1 tbsp | Ghee |
70 gm | Green cabbage (chopped) |
150 gm | Zucchini (spiralized to 'noodles') |
1 pepper(s) | Red chili pepper (also chile or chilli) (fresh; sliced; optional) |
2 tbsp | Lime juice (fresh) |
1 tbsp | Cilantro (coriander) (fresh; chopped) |
1 tsp | Salt and pepper (season to taste) |
Over a moderate heat in a medium saucepan sauté the onion and mushroom in the ghee for a few minutes
Stir in the ground beef and cook until the meat is no longer pink
Add all of the spices to the pan, combine well
Pour in the bone broth or water and continue cooking for 15 minutes until the stock is reduced down to a good consistency
Whilst the beef cooks, use a separate pan to sauté the sliced cabbage in with the ghee with salt and pepper for 5 mins
Add the chopped fresh chilli to the cabbage for spice (optional)
Finally, add the zucchini noodles into the pan to stir fry. Add seasoning as required and cook through for 8-10 mins, whilst still stirring
Plate up the Stir Fry Zoodles and spoon over the Asian Beef. Serve with freshly squeezed lime and coriander sprinkled all over. Enjoy!
