2 avocado(s) Avocado (peeled)
1/3 cup Cocoa powder, unsweetened
2 tbsp Honey (or sweetener of choice)
1/2 cup Almond milk, unsweetened (or milk of choice)
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract, pure

Instructions


  1. Cut into the avocado lengthwise until you hit the pit.  Rotate the knife around the entire pit until you have two halves.  Carefully hit the pit with the knife until it punctures it.  Turn the knife to pop out of the pit.  Push a spoon between the avocado flesh and the skin, scoop out the flesh, and discard the skin.
  2. Add the avocado, cocoa powder, honey, almond milk, and vanilla to a high-power blender or food processor. 
  3. Blend/ process until very smooth.
  4. Enjoy immediately at room temperature, or chill before serving for a refreshing summer treat!


Notes:

  • Avocados are high in monounsaturated fatty acids which are excellent for heart health
