This herbal cranberry tonic also makes a tasty spritzer — just use sparkling water in place of regular water.


2 fruit Lime (halved)
10 leaf Mint, fresh (or 1 sprig)
1 sprig Rosemary, fresh
1 sprig Tarragon, fresh
1 tsp Swedish Bitters
1/2 cup Cranberry juice (unsweetened) (100%, unsweetened)
2 tsp Black Elder Berry Extract
1 dropperful (28 drops) Ginseng extract (preferably American)
1 serving (20 drops) Echinacea extract


  1. Thinly slice half of 1 lime into wheels. Juice the other 3 halves.

  2. Muddle lime wheels and lime juice, mint, rosemary, and tarragon in a pitcher.

  3. Add Swedish bitters, cranberry juice, 2 dropperfuls of elderberry extract, 1 dropperful of ginseng extract, and 1 dropperful of echinacea extract in a quart container.

  4. Stir in 4 cups of filtered water or sparking water. Serve over ice.
