1 cup | Partly skimmed milk, 1% M.F. (or use almond milk or coconut milk) |
3 tbsp | Canola oil (or grapeseed oil, coconut oil or avocado oil) |
1/3 cup | Maple syrup (brown sugar or honey) |
3/4 tsp | Vanilla extract, pure |
3 spray (about 1/3 second) | Olive oil cooking spray |
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In large bowl, mix together oats, baking powder, cinnamon and sea salt. Stir in apples and banana; set aside.
3. In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk, canola oil, maple syrup or brown sugar and vanilla extract. Pour over dry mixture and gently stir to combine.
4. Spray 8- x 8-inch (20- x 20-cm) baking dish with oil spray. Pour mixture into baking dish and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
