Baked Apple with Ghee, Hazelnuts and Cinnamon

Ingredients


5 medium Apple
2 tbsp unpacked Brown sugar
1/2 tsp Cacao powder, raw (mix with ghee for flavour)
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
6 date(s) Dates (pureed, mix with ghee for flavour)
6 date(s) Dates (chopped)
4 tbsp Ghee
1/2 cup Hazelnuts (chopped)

Instructions


Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine the ghee, sugar, hazelnuts and dates in a mixing bowl. Using an apple corer or a serrated knife, remove the core of the apple. Stuff each apple tightly with the mixture.

Place apples on a baking tray, cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, until soft. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve warm.
