454 gm Chicken, drumstick (skin on)
1 tsp Salt and pepper
2 tbsp Ghee
2 clove(s) Garlic (minced)
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Italian herb seasoning, McCormick (dried)
227 gm Green/yellow string beans, raw (fresh)

Instructions


  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels, put them in a large bowl, and apply pink salt and pepper all over the skin on both sides.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the ghee, garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine for 30 seconds, and let sit for 5 minutes while the flavors combine.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken legs, and toss to coat evenly. Season with more pink salt and pepper.
  5. Arrange the chicken legs on one side of the prepared pan, leaving room for the vegetables later.
  6. Bake the chicken for 30 minutes, then remove the pan from the oven. Spread the green beans over the empty half of the pan, and turn the chicken legs. Coat the beans in the chicken fat, and season with pink salt and pepper.
  7. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes more, until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy, and serve.
