Instructions
1. Soak black beans in large bowl of water overnight.
2. Rinse beans and put in crock-pot with water, garlic cloves, and spices.
3. Crockpot: Cook on high for 5–6 hours. Stovetop: Boil in a covered pot and cook for 60–90 minutes or until tender.
