Basil-Garlic Turkey Burgers

Ingredients


40 gm Crispbread rye cracker (crumbled)
1 1/2 tbsp Basil, fresh (chopped, divided)
135 gm Turkey breast (grounded)
80 gm Tomato (chopped)
55 gm Arugula (washed)
1 clove(s) Garlic (small, finely minced, to taste)
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Salt (to taste)
1/2 tsp Black pepper (to taste)

Instructions


In a large bowl combine the crumbled crackers and basil.  Add turkey, salt and pepper to taste; mix well. Form a patty.

Place patty on grill or pan. Grill or cooked on pan, covered, for 5 minutes per side or until golden. 

Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine tomatoes, garlic, oil, 1/2 tbsp of basil, salt and pepper to taste; set aside.

On a plate, add the arugula, place burger over it, top with tomato mixture, and serve.

Notes:

Can use ground chicken, pork, or meat instead of turkey.
