1/3 cup | Coconut oil (melted) |
1/3 cup | Maple syrup |
2 tsp | Vanilla extract, pure |
1 cup | Coconut milk, reduced fat (any type of liquid, milk, plant milks or coconut water) |
3 cup | Oats, dry |
1 tsp | Baking soda |
1 tbsp | Cinnamon (or as much or as little as you like) |
2 tbsp hulled | Hemp seeds, shelled |
1/2 cup | Almonds, raw (orang other kind of nut) |
1/2 cup | Pecans (or any other kind of nut) |
2 cup | Frozen blueberries (fresh or frozen or other berry, frozen is easiest to press into bar) |
Preheat oven to 350°
Melt coconut oil on stove in large pot
Mix together ALL dry ingredients
once coconut oil is melted pour in all liquid ingrediants and mix together
Add all dry ingredients right into warm pot and mix everything until cohesive.
Transfer to a parchment lined pan and press down until evenly compacted around dish
Top with berries and lightly press into top of bars
Bake 25 minutes
If you are in need of a sweeter fix once bars are mostly cooled or as you go to eat each bar drizzle with honey. (manuka or regular) Do not bake or heat the honey as this can breakdown some of its nutritional benefits.
