1 1/2 cup Black beans, canned (drained and rinsed)
1/8 tsp Black pepper
1 1/2 cup Chickpeas, canned, drained (drained and rinsed)
1 tsp Cumin
3 clove(s) Garlic (roasted)
1/4 cup Green onion, scallion, ramp (for garnish)
1 medium pepper(s) Jalapeno pepper (seeded)
1/4 tsp Kosher salt
3 tbsp Lime juice
1/4 cup chopped Red bell pepper
3 cup Vegetable stock/broth
1/4 cup chopped Yellow bell pepper
1/2 cup Yellow onion (chopped, sautéed)


Place vegetable stock, beans, chickpeas, onion, garlic, lime juice, jalapeño pepper, and seasoning into the blender in the order listed and secure lid.

Turn machine on and slowly increase speed. Blend for 6-7 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from the vented lid.

Reduce speed and remove the lid plug. Add peppers and reserved beans through the lid plug opening. Blend for additional 10 seconds. Serve immediately.
