Bohemian Sweet and Sour Cabbage (Vegan)

2 tsp All-purpose white flour
1/4 tsp Black pepper
1 small head Green cabbage (sliced)
1 tsp Caraway seed
2 tsp Granulated sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sunflower oil
1/2 cup Vinegar, white
1 medium Yellow onion (chopped)


In a large skillet or pot, stir the chopped onions in the oil until they become a golden colour. Do not brown the onions.

Add the water (375 ml), vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring the liquid to a boil. Put cabbage in pot; sprinkle with caraway seeds. Boil for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle with flour. Stir it up and boil just a few seconds for the flour to dissolve.
