Cover egg with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 10 minutes. Add a pinch of baking soda to water during cooking to make it easier to peel egg. Drain and rinse egg with cold water. Let cool, then peel.
Serve whole or sliced, sprinkled with salt and pepper to taste, alongside raw veggies.
