1 medium Apple
1 dash Black pepper
4 cup Red cabbage (thinly sliced)
1 medium Carrots (shredded)
2 tsp Canola oil (for dressing)
3 tbsp Apple cider vinegar (for dressing)
1/2 tsp Granulated sugar (for dressing)
1/2 tsp Celery seed (for dressing)
1/2 tsp Hot sauce (for dressing)
1/3 cup Cranberries, dried
1 tbsp Mint, fresh (chopped)
3 tbsp Walnuts (chopped)


1. In a large bowl, toss together cabbage, carrot and cranberries; set aside.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, oil, sugar, celery seed, hot pepper sauce and pepper. Drizzle over cabbage mixture and add walnuts.

3. Grate apple and add to salad. Sprinkle with mint and toss well to coat.
