1/2 medium | Apple |
1 tbsp | Flaxseed meal (ground) |
1/2 tsp | Cinnamon |
1/2 cup | Rolled oats, dry |
4 date pitted | Medjool date (chopped) |
1 cup | Almond milk, unsweetened |
1 tbsp | Cashew butter |
1 tbsp hulled | Hemp seeds, shelled |
1. Add oats, milk, and cinnamon to a pot, stir and heat on medium high and bring to boil.
2. Let oats simmer and add dates until oats are cooked, you may need to add more water or milk, keep an eye on them. It should take about 10 to 15 minutes for the oats to cook.
3. Once the oats are cooked and liquid is absorbed remove from heat.
4. Add to bowl and top with flax seeds, hemp seeds, cashew butter and apple sauce.

*you can make the oats in the evening and heat them quickly in the morning to save time.
*double the oat recipe so you have left overs for later in the week for a fast and easy breakfast on the go.
