5 large stalk(s) | Celery (adjust to various celery stalk sizes) |
1/4 cup | Water (warmed) |
1. Put on tea kettle to make the warm water (not boiling water).
2. Wash the celery.
2. Juice the celery. (If you don't have a juicer, you can also blend the celery in a Vitamix, Nutribullet, or any high-speed blender with a little water and either drink as is or strain it.)
3. Pour celery juice into a large ceramic mug or large mason jar & pour in approximately 1/4 cup of warm water.
4. Drink immediately to get the most benefits for your body. Your body will get deeper benefits from the celery juice if it is your first food/liquid of the day.
(Optional: If you find the taste of straight celery juice too strong, add in a 1/4 of a cucumber and/or a 1/2 of an apple to the juice)
