8 cup Apple cider (2 quarts)
1 piece, 1-inch Ginger root (peeled and quartered)
2 stick(s) Cinnamon
6 pods Cardamom pods
6 clove Cloves
4 peppercorn Peppercorn
1/2 pod Vanilla bean (sliced in half lengthwise)

Instructions


Pour apple cider into a slow cooker. Add rest of ingredients.

Cook on low until hot and spiced through, about 4 hours. Strain mixture and discard spices before serving.
