1 bunch Kale (de-stemmed and cut into bite sized 'chips')
1 cup Cashew nuts, raw (that have been soaked in water for at least 30 minutes beforehand and then drained)
1/3 cup Nutritional yeast
4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
1/2 medium Lemon (juiced)
1 tsp Apple cider
1 1/2 tbsp Dill, fresh
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Onion powder
1 tbsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
1/4 cup Water (plus a few extra tablespoons until desired consistency is reached)


  1. Preheat oven to 275°F.
  2. Wash kale thoroughly.
  3. Pour cheese sauce over kale until fully, evenly, coated.
  4. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the chips in an even layer.
  5. Bake 25-35 minutes flipping half way.

Advanced Preparation

1 - 3 days prior [optional], Cashew nuts, raw 1 cup

Put all ingredients except for the kale and water in a blender. Slowly add 1/4 cup water; pulse. Then add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until you get a ‘sauce’ consistency (this is your cheese sauce).
