Whole wheat bread
(day old multi-grain bread, diced into 1/2 cubes)
1 tsp
Nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp
Garlic powder
1 pinch
Salt
1 dash
Black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400° F.
In a small bowl, toss bread with ghee, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, salt and pepper to combine. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring once to ensure even cooking. Set aside to cool.
Note:
Don't be put off by the name. Nutritional yeast has a cheesy flavour and is often used in vegan cooking as a cheese alternative.
