Ingredients


1 tbsp Almonds, raw (slivered)
1 tsp Black pepper
4 drumstick Chicken, drumstick (skinless)
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Cloves
1 tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/4 tsp Cumin
1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
2 clove(s) Garlic
1 medium pepper(s) Green bell pepper (sliced)
1 tsp Hot sauce
1/3 cup Orange juice
2 tbsp Orange peel (zest)
1/8 tsp Salt
2 can(s) (16 oz) Diced tomatoes, canned
1 cup White onion (chopped)

Instructions


In a large fry pan or wok, heat oil over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook for 8 minutes or until no longer pink. Add onions, garlic and green pepper and cook for 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes, hot sauce, cocoa powder, almonds, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, orange juice, orange zest, salt and pepper. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve with whole-grain brown rice.
