Ingredients


8 slice Whole wheat bread (or Focaccia if you're feeling fancy!)
1/4 cup Basil pesto
114 gm Roasted red peppers, canned (typically bought in a jarred, not canned)
114 gm Provolone cheese (or cheese of choice)
2 cup Green leaf lettuce (or greens of choice)
284 gm Turkey, deli cut (or chicken)

Instructions


  1. Spread the pesto on each slice of bread.
  2. Add the roasted peppers, provolone cheese, mixed greens, and turkey in layers to the bottom slice of bread.
  3. Top with the other half of the bread. Slice in half and enjoy!

Notes:

Leftovers: Best enjoyed fresh. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to two days.
