1 tbsp | Chia seeds |
1/4 cup | Almond milk, chocolate, unsweetened, Blue Diamond |
1 tbsp | Cocoa powder, unsweetened |
1/4 tsp | Vanilla extract, pure |
1 dash | Cinnamon |
1 tsp | Orange juice (approx. juice from one or two wedges) |
1/4 tsp | Orange peel (zest) |
2 tsp | Stevia sweetener, powder (or maple syrup) |
1 tbsp | Almonds, raw (chopped) |
1. Prep chia seed in a small jar with cocoa, sweetener, almond milk and orange juice, and vanilla. Stir or shake well to mix up all ingredients.
2. Let sit at least 10-20 minutes and then sprinkle with almonds and orange zest before storing in the fridge. Feel free to garnish with more cinnamon, an orange wedge or even cacao nibs or carob chips.
3. In the morning just take it out of the fridge, grab a spoon and enjoy!
