Chocolate Protein Nice Cream Smoothie Bowl

Mmmmm... life is short. Eat dessert first! This breakfast smoothie bowl can be enjoyed at anytime and with anything.

Ingredients


2 medium Frozen banana (sliced and frozen; the riper the better)
1 tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened (add more if you like it more chocolatey)
2 tbsp hulled Hemp seeds, shelled (or use coconut)
2 scoop Vanilla Bone Broth Protein Powder (you can always add more hemp seeds if you don't have)
1 tsp Vanilla extract, pure
1 tsp Stevia sweetener, powder (optional)
2 tbsp Walnuts (chopped)
1 tbsp Cacao nibs, raw
1/4 cup Blueberries

Instructions


  1. Blend frozen banana, cocoa powder, hemp seeds, protein powder, vanilla extract and stevia (optional), in a high speed blender until smooth and creamy. Save some hemp for the final sprinkle.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with walnuts, cacao nibs and blueberries, or get creative with your own choice of toppings.
  3. If you don't have cacao nibs, you can make syrup by adding cocoa powder, maple syrup with some coconut oil. Mix well and drizzle on top. Enjoy!

Notes:

Quick Tips:

You can use your choice of protein powder.

If you find the mixture difficult to blend, add 1-2 tbsp of almond milk.
