Working out a lot and always feeling hungry and finding yourself continuously reaching for snacks?  

Exercise increases your metabolism and therefore your body burns more at rest and needs more fuel to stay energized throughout the day.  Snacks are great for when you need that little extra energy burst to get you threw the next couple hours.  When choosing a snack, be sure to choose a balanced snack that includes protein, fat, and fiber from complex carbs to keep you full and satisfied.  

This collection has multiple examples of healthy snacks for athletes who are working out a lot and need the extra calories.  All snacks have a good amount of protein since our bodies need protein for muscle recovery.
