Creamy Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce

2 1/2 cup Butternut squash
1/4 cup chopped Yellow onion (or 2 tsp onion powder)
1/2 tsp Nutmeg, ground
1 tsp Poultry seasoning
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup Partly skimmed milk, 1% M.F.
1 pinch Salt


Add squash and onion to a large microwave safe bowl and cook on high 5-8 minutes or until squash is tender. Alternatively, you can steam these on the stove. Drain and let cool slightly.

Add squash, onion, spices and parmesan to a food processor. Starting with 1/4 cup milk, process the mixture until smooth. Add additional milk until you reach desired consistency.

Season with salt to taste.
