DA - Chia Berry Green Protein Smoothie

Ingredients


1 cup Water
1/2 cup Frozen berries (mixed)
1/2 medium Frozen banana
1 cup Spinach (you may use 1-2 cups, rinsed)
5 cube(s) Ice cubes (a handful)
1 scoop Donovan and Cecilia Approved Whey Protein (vanilla) (or chocolate)
1 tsp Chia seeds (a sprinkle)

Instructions


1. Blend the water and greens FIRST

 

2. Add the rest of the ingredients

 

3. Blend in a high speed blender until a smooth consistency has been reached

 

4. Pour in glass and Enjoy!

 

 

Notes:

Bananas

are high in potassium

Spinach

is extremely nutrient dense and is an excellent source of vitamin K, carotenes, vitamin C and folic acid

Chia Seeds

are an excellent source of omega 3's and are rich in fiber, iron and calcium
