DA - Simple Sauteed Spinach

454 gm Baby spinach (cleaned and dried)
2 clove(s) Garlic (peeled and thinly sliced)
1/2 medium Lemon (fresh)
1 1/5 second spray Cooking Spray, coconut oil
1 pinch Sea Salt (to taste)
1 dash Black pepper (to taste)

Instructions


1. Heat up a large sauté pan and lightly spray with coconut oil over medium heat.

 

2. Add 1/3 of the spinach to the pot and with tongs, continually turn the spinach for 1-2 minutes.

 

3. Add the next 1/3 of spinach to the pot, continually turning (about 1 min). 

 

4. Add the final 1/3 of spinach AND the sliced garlic, and continually turn until all of the spinach is mostly wilted (another 1-3 minutes). 

 

5. Remove spinach mixture from the pot and squeeze 1/2 lemon over the spinach. Season with salt and pepper and toss well. That's it! Very easy and super healthy!

Spinach

is extremely nutrient dense, it is an excellent source of vitamin C, folic acid and iron
