DA - Vanilla Almond Protein Smoothie

Ingredients


1/2 medium Banana (s)
1/2 cup Spinach (a handful could be 1/2 to 1 cup, rinsed)
1 1/2 cup Almond milk, vanilla, unsweetened, Silk
1 scoop Donovan and Cecilia Approved Whey Protein (Vanilla)
1/4 tsp Honey, raw (or stevia, to taste)

Instructions


1. Blend the water and greens FIRST

 

2. Add the rest of the ingredients 

 

3. Blend in a high speed blender until a smooth consistency has been reached

 

4. Pour in glass and Enjoy!

Notes:

Bananas

are high in potassium

Spinach

is extremely nutrient dense and an excellent source of vitamin K, carotenes, vitamin C and folic acid

Almond Milk

is enriched with vitamin D, calcium and protein and is naturally rich in vitamin E
