A meal replacement smoothie with key nutrients to assist in crushing your day.
Ingredients
1/4 cup
Beets, raw
(pureed)
1 cup
Skyr plain yogurt
(Substitute kefir or dairy free alternative)
1/2 cup
Cashew milk, unsweetened
2 tbsp
Almond butter, salted
2 tbsp
Chia seeds, ground
1 tsp
Apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp
Whey protein powder, isolate, chocolate
(or collagen protein)
1 tbsp
Matcha, green tea powder
(optional)
1 cup
Frozen spinach
Instructions
To make the beet puree: peel and slice 2lbs of beets, add to a pressure cooker with 4oz of water, and cook on high for 5 minutes. Alternatively, cook in a covered pot until tender. Blend in a high-speed blender until smooth.
Place all ingredients except spinach in a blender and blend on low until smooth (30 seconds).
Add frozen spinach and blend starting on low and working your way up to high (1 minute).
