43 gm Egg noodles, unenriched, dry
454 gm Beef, ground, lean
1 medium Red onion (thinly sliced)
2 cup Beef broth (stock)
1 1/2 cup Coconut milk, sweetened
2 cube Beef bouillon, dry, Knorr
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup Coconut milk, sweetened
2 tbsp All-purpose white flour
1/2 tsp Sea salt, fine
1/2 tsp Black pepper
3 sprig Parsley, fresh (optional for garnish)


  1. Prepare noodles according to package directions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef. Remove from pan and pour all but 1 tablespoon of grease in the pan. Set meat aside.
  3. Add the onions to the pan and season liberally with salt & pepper. Sauté until translucent and soft - about 5 minutes - stirring frequently.
  4. Add the beef broth, 1 1/2 cups of coconut milk, bouillon and Worcestershire sauce to the pan.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining coconut milk and flour until smooth. Whisk into the pan until smooth and well incorporated.
  6. Return the beef to the pan and simmer until the noodles are ready.
  7. Toss the noodles to coat evenly with the sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt & pepper and garnish with parsley before serving.
