Ingredients


1 leaf Bay leaf
1/4 tsp Black pepper
6 cup Fish broth (stock) (as needed, or substitute with water)
1 clove(s) Garlic
4 slice Italian Bread
2 potato Potato
1/2 tsp Salt
1 head(s) Cabbage, savoy
1 medium Yellow onion

Instructions


Dice cabbage, peeled potatoes and onions into half-inch (1-cm) cubes.

Simmer the vegetables in fish broth; add a minced clove of garlic, a bay leaf, and salt and pepper to taste to the pot.

While the soup is cooking, toast several slices of bread. Line your soup bowls with them, ladle the soup over it, and serve.
