Easy Turkey and Bean Tacos

Ingredients


454 gm Ground turkey, lean
1 can (15oz) Black beans, canned (drained)
1 tbsp Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
2 tbsp Taco seasoning mix, McCormick
6 small tortilla(s) Tortilla, corn (Or any grain-free, gluten-free tortillas)
1 cup Baby spinach (or kale, romaine, etc.)
1/2 medium White onion (chopped)
1 avocado(s) Avocado (mashed)
1/4 cup Salsa, ready-to-serve
1 fruit Lime (sliced into wedges)

Instructions


  1. In a non-stick pan, heat oil, add ground meat cook until the turkey is no longer pink.
  2. Add drained black beans to turkey and cook until beans are warm. 
  3. While turkey and black beans are cooking, chop/prepare lettuce, avocado, lime and onion. 
  4. Place corn tortillas into oven (high broil) or in a skillet on medium heat to warm. You may also use large lettuce leaves as taco shells instead!
  5. Serve tortillas with meat/bean mixture, spinach, avocado, onion, your favorite salsa, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
