If you are looking for an easy low carb breakfast, lunch or side dish, try this sausage & Brussels sprouts hash.
Ingredients
454 gm
Breakfast sausage, mild
1/4 cup
Pine nuts, dried
1 tbsp
Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
1 dash
Salt and pepper
(to taste)
341 gm
Brussels sprouts
(shredded or chopped)
Instructions
Add the oil to a large saute pan and heat up. Put in the sausage and start breaking it up to brown.'
While the sausage has started, chop up the Brussels sprouts and add them in. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir and then place the lid on and cook for 5 minutes.
Take of the lid, stir and add in the pine nuts. Cook until the sausage and Brussels are done.
