Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Grease or line the 6 inch baking dish with oil or butter and Keep aside.
Sieve flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda together for 2-3 times. Keep aside.
Take sugar, lemon juice and chopped pineapple in a blender and blend to puree.
Fold this puree with oil to sieved dry ingredients lightly. (Do not over beat).
Transfer this cake batter in greased baking dish and bake for 40 minutes. Check with the help of knife or toothpick, if not baked keep it for another 5-10 minutes and check again.
When done take the baking dish out of the oven and let it cool on wire rack.
Slice to serve when it its cooled completely or frost the cooled cake with simple whipped cream.

This recipe is disgusting! There is not enough flour. Outside was like a hard cookie and inside it a sludgy mess. Terrible. A complete waste of ingredients!
I don't know what this other reviewer thinks, but this was delicious! The pineapple juice from the chunks soaks into the cake and turns it into a savory treat. :)
