1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
2. Peel back corn husks and remove silk. Place 1 tablespoon butter, salt and pepper (garlic is optional) on each piece of corn. Close husks.
3. Wrap each corn husk tightly in aluminum foil and place on the prepared grill.
4. Cook for 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until corn is tender. Once fully cooked, remove from heat and let cook for 5 minutes.
To make this vegan, use vegan butter or coconut oil instead of butter.
Try to use grass-fed or organic butter.
