|15 min||1 h||2|
|1 fillet||Whitefish (In Canada I liked using wild halibut, but you can try other white fish)|
|2 tomato||Roma tomatoes (diced small)|
|1/4 medium||Red onion (diced small)|
|1 tbsp||Cilantro (coriander) (fresh chopped)|
|1 pepper(s)||Serrano pepper (finely diced)|
|4 fruit||Lime (fresh squeezed)|
|1/2 tsp||Sea salt (or to taste)|
|1 dash||Black pepper (or to taste)|
|1 tbsp||Extra virgin olive oil|
Tastes amazing with some organic blue corn tortilla chips!
Side note: if you are nervous about using fish raw, you may steam the fillets first then combine with the ingredients. You may serve this right away, but marinating is a nice way for the flavours to combine.
