1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Brown rice, short-grain, cooked
2 tbsp Sesame oil
454 gm Ground turkey, extra lean
1 tbsp minced Ginger root
1 large pepper(s) Red bell pepper (finely diced)
1 can(s) (8oz) Water chestnuts, canned (rinsed and chopped)
1/2 cup Chicken broth (stock), low sodium
2 tbsp Hoisin sauce, ready-to-serve
1 tsp 5-Spice seasoning
1/2 tsp Salt
2 head Lettuce, butterhead (Boston) (leaves separated)
1/2 cup Cilantro (coriander) (chopped)
1 medium Carrots (shredded)


Heat oil in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Add turkey and ginger, crumbling meat with a wooden spoon, until the turkey is cooked through, about 6 minutes.

Stir in the cooked rice, bell pepper, water chestnuts, broth, hoisin sauce, 5-spice powder and salt; cook until heated through, about 1 minute.

To serve, divide lettuce leaves among plates, spoon some of the turkey mixture into each leaf, top with cilantro and carrot and roll into wraps.
