Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

1 small Red onion
3 clove(s) Garlic
1 cup Parsley, fresh (packed)
1 cup Cilantro (coriander) (packed)
3/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp Red wine vinegar
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black pepper
284 gm Beef, flank, lean


1. Dump everything into your food processor, except the olive oil, and process until smooth.

2. Transfer the sauce to a bowl, add the oil, and let it sit for at least 20 minutes.

3. I serve it with grilled flank steak, sliced very thin, and threaded onto bamboo skewer.

To Grill Steak:

  • Heat grill to medium-high heat or pre-heat broiler
  • Marinate steak with seasoning of choice
  • Grill for about 4 minutes per side for medium rare
