454 gm Split peas, raw
2 cup pieces Turkey bacon, raw
1 large Yellow onion (diced)
1 cup diced Celery
2 cup chopped Carrots
3 clove(s) Garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp, ground Thyme, dried
2 leaf Bay leaf
947 ml Chicken broth (stock) (for slow cooker)
2 cup Water (for slow cooker)

Instructions


Freeze ingredients in a bag. When ready to eat, thaw in the fridge overnight.

Add water and chicken broth to the ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
