Cut the unpeeled orange into large chunks and discard the seeds.
Combine the cranberries, orange and sugar in the food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add the apple and walnuts and pulse a few more times until well incorporated.
Serve at once or store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
